TEMPERANCE SUNDAY : Today
is Temperance Sunday a day of special prayer for the virtue of Temperance in our
lives. With this in mind we are planning to 'call back to life' the Pioneer Total
Abstinence Association in our parish. If you are a pioneer or would like to become
a member of the P.T.A.A. or just get to some information, you are invited to a meeting
upstairs in St Mel's Cathedral on Monday 11th March at 8pm.

LENT: We will celebrate
Mass at 1.05pm, each weekday during the season of Lent. We will make every effort
to have the Mass completed by 1.30pm. We hope that this Mass will accommodate people
working locally and others who cannot make the morning Mass but would like to make
every effort to attend Mass for the season of Lent, which begins on Wed 6th Mar.
