This year again, the Parish will host a special Supper and Dance in The Inishowen Gateway Hotel on St Patrick’s Night. Supper will be served around 8pm and a dance will follow. The evening is free of charge – this is the parish acknowledging the support of so many people in so many ways.

It is hoped that amongst those there will be (in no particular order): Readers, Eucharistic Ministers, Flower Arrangers, Church Cleaners, Parish Finance Committee, Adoration Committee, Parish Staff, Community Employment Scheme, Counters, Altar Servers, Collectors, SVdP, Legion of Mary, Parish Pastoral Council, Children’s Adoration, SpREd, Members of Boards of Management, Grotto Carers, Flower Festival Committee & Volunteers, Baptism Preparation Group, Parish Draw Promoters, Choir groups, Pope John Paul II Candidates, Parent Representatives and Parish Coordinators for the Do This In Memory Program, Catechists, together with spouses, parents and/or other family members.

Due to space considerations, we are limited to 300 people.

To facilitate organisation of food etc, please collect tickets (free-of-charge) from the Parish Office (available on a first-come-first-served basis). Again, the details are:

Readings for this week

Eccles (Sir) 27:4-7. One’s words flow from what is in one’s heart. Bad language, bad talks, hate-filled speech show a corrupted mind. Rotten trees produce bad fruit.

1 Cor 15:54-58. “Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting?” The Law of the Old Testament taught us our faults before God. But Christ has given us the means of putting sin and death behind us. “Keep on working at the Lord’s work always.”
