Parish Survey
As part
of the Derry Diocesan Pastoral Plan 2018-2021, Bishop Donal McKeown has asked that
every parish conducts a Parish Survey. Over
the years we have seen many changes in our parish and in the years to come we will
see many more. The parish survey gives us an opportunity to continue to grow as
a parish, as a community and as a people of faith. An opportunity to respond to
your needs and the changing
circumstances of the parish. We would like to hear your views. Whether
you are young or not so young, whether you practice your faith or not, whether you
are new to the parish or have lived here many years.
In the
next week representatives from the parish will deliver a survey to your home. For
those under 18 years old, there is a Youth Survey. If you need additional copies
contact the parish office. The survey should take no more than a few minutes to
complete.
The paper surveys can be returned: by post (please affix a stamp),
to our parish primary schools (St Mary’s, Christ the King, St Brigid’s, St Eugene’s
or St Ronan’s Recarson), into the survey box at the back of the Churches, into the
survey boxes in McGinn’s Spar Killyclogher, McBride’s Spar Mullaghmore, McBride’s
Spar Gortin Rd, Mace Strathroy, Dolans Mace Gortin Rd or Vivo Mountfield, or simply
by dropping it into the parish office.
The survey can be completed online, follow the link on the parish
website or FBook page.
We thank
you very much for taking the time to compete the survey.
It will
be very helpful for us as we continue to build an active and vibrant parish.

“DTIM” Parents Comment
“This
is our first year participating in the DTIM. It has made a big difference in our
home with all our children learning to understand how important prayer is. As they
weren’t very keen on going to Mass before, the fact that all the children get to
participate in some way or another has changed this in our house. Joe has felt so
included and looks forward to getting to help with the Masses. Thank you to Cappagh
Parish, you have made us all feel very welcome.”
