2 Tim 3:14 – 4:2. We equip ourselves through reading and interpreting the scriptures
in the light of apostolic tradition (‘tradition’ means ‘what is handed on’). We
“proclaim the message (the Kerygma) and - welcome or unwelcome - insist on it.”
Lk 18:1-8. Real faith and frequent turning to God (prayer) are two sides of the same
coin. God neither sleeps nor slumbers (today’s psalm) in his care for us. But he
expects heartfelt trust and patience in return.
