Let us
think about the passing away of our brothers and sisters who have preceded us, let
us think about the evening of our life, when it will come. And let us think about
our hearts and ask ourselves: “Where is my heart anchored?” If it is not firmly
anchored, let us anchor it beyond, on that shore, knowing that hope does not disappoint
because the Lord Jesus does not disappoint.

Reflection: Are our lives anchored in
the hope of mercy that comes with the Resurrection? Do we live our lives as if this
is true? Consider where your hope lies and re-anchor your life in Christ if you
have found that you have been drifting away.

A Mass for the all those
who have died, were waked, had their Funeral Mass or
were buried in our parish since November 2018 will take place in the Sacred Heart
Church on Monday 4th November at 7.30pm.
Day Retreat For Senior Citizens & Their Friends
– In the Carmelite Retreat Centre Termonbacca on Thursday 7th November. Cost for

A 2-Day Retreat Given By Jim Brown – Takes place
in the Carmelite Retreat Centre Termonbacca on Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th November.
Registration at 9.30am. Cost - £15 per day or £30 for the two days. Anyone interested
in staying overnight, the cost is £50 which includes the 2 days of the retreat.
The
Matt Talbot Freedom from Drugs Mass will
be celebrated in St Eugene’s Cathedral on Monday 4th November at 7.30pm. All are welcome to attend.
Diocese of Derry Mission Team Meeting – If you are interested in being part of our Diocesan
Mission Team to promote and foster mission awareness at home and overseas, please

Youth Reunion – On Thursday 7th November, Bishop McKeown will be celebrating a Mass of Thanksgiving for the
Lourdes Youth Team and their families. Mass will be celebrated at 7:30pm in St Eugene’s
Cathedral followed by refreshments in the Cathedral Hall.
