Part Time Sacristan: Permanent Contract, Part Time position:
9 hours per week (days and hours to suit liturgical celebrations). Role: Preparing
the church for all liturgies in accordance with diocesan guidelines and ensure effective

Feast of the Immaculate Conception
As the 8th December falls on a Sunday this year the Feast
of the Immaculate Conception will be celebrated on Monday 9th December. Masses will
be in the Sacred Heart at 10 am and 7.30 pm.

First Friday Devotions
Friday is the First Friday of the month. There will be
8 am Mass in the Sacred Heart Church. As Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament is
now on Wednesdays, there will be no Exposition on the First Friday.
Parish Draw
The final draw in 2019 takes place on Tuesday 3rd December
before the Bingo in St Joseph’s Hall. All members of the draw who are fully paid
up will be eligible for the special £5,000 draw which also takes place that night.
A wee reminder that membership of our 2020 Parish Draw
would make an excellent gift for Christmas, with the opportunity to win anything
between £100 and £5,000 throughout the year - call to the Parish Office to purchase,
price is £60 for the year.
Promoters who wish to continue with the draw in 2020
can collect their new draw cards from either the Sacred Heart Church sacristy after
Masses or St Joseph’s Hall on the night of the final draw.
Baptismal Preparation
As part of the Parish Baptismal Preparation parents are
invited to attend a Baptismal Preparation evening before booking the baptism. The
next evening will be in the Pastoral Centre on Monday 9th December at 8 pm. For

Advent Children’s Liturgy
All children of primary school age are invited to attend
our Advent Children’s Liturgy which begins on Sunday 1st December in the Sacred
Heart Church at 12.30 pm Mass and in St Mary’s Church, Drumragh at 10 am Mass. The
Advent Children’s Liturgy will continue on Sunday 8th, 15th and 22nd December.
Parish Office Closure
Please note that the Parish Office will be closed on
Thursday 5th and Friday 6th December.
Visitation of the Sick & Housebound
Details for the visitation of the sick and housebound
for December have not been finalised yet. There will be full details in next week’s
newsletter.
Annual Carol Service
The Annual Carol Service will take place in the Sacred
Heart Church on Sunday 15th December at 6 pm. The service should last no longer
than one hour. All welcome.
All Saints' P.S. Open Day
All Saints' Primary School in Tattysallagh are holding
their Open Day for prospective new parents and pupils on Wednesday 11th December
from 1 pm – 3 pm. Come along, meet the staff and pupils and experience the excellent
learning environment, curricular and extra-curricular experiences and facilities
we can offer your child. Everyone welcome.
Ulster Project 2020
The Project aims to help young people of the main Christian
churches to become future leaders in reconciliation. It is run here from January
to June and in U.S.A. in July. Applications are invited from those whose 15th birthday
occurs in 2020 and forms (available at Parish Office) must be returned by Wednesday
4th December at 12 pm.
Mass in Honour of Padre Pio
This Mass will be celebrated in the Sacred Heart Church
on Wednesday 11th December at 7.30 pm. This will be a special time of prayer for
healing and a relic of St Pio will be available for veneration.
Advent Evening Prayer
Advent Evening Prayer and Benediction will be celebrated
in the Sacred Heart Church this evening (Sunday) at 6 pm.

St Vincent de Paul & Gift Aid Scheme
St Vincent de Paul will be making its special collection
after Masses next weekend – Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th December. In preparation
for this Christmas giving, you can donate by using our special GIFT AID envelopes
which are available today after each Mass. The Government will freely add 25% to
your donation. Please return your envelope next week.

Tattysallagh’s Nativity Crib Festival
For the third consecutive year, Babs Barrett will put
on Tattysallagh’s Nativity Crib Festival at her home at 33 Corradinna Road. Babs
invites everyone to come along on Sunday 8th and Sunday 15th December from 10 am
to 7 pm to view the exhibition and enjoy a cup of tea/coffee and assures visitors
that there will be ample and convenient car parking.

Son of God was born of the most pure Virgin Mary at midnight in Bethlehem in piercing
cold. In that hour promise, oh my God, to hear my prayer and grant my desires, through
