Lough Derg


Cappagh Parish joins Bishop Donal McKeown 

on his 'virtual pilgrimage' to Lough Derg 



On Friday night/Saturday morning a number of parishioners will lead the 'Station Prayers' live from St. Mary's Church, Killyclogher, at 12 Midnight / 1.30am / 3am / 4.30am.

The Vigil will conclude with Mass at 6am.






DAY OF PRAYER AND FASTING


1 – 2 MAY 2020

Bishop Donal McKeown would like to invite the people of the diocese to join him in a time of prayer and fasting during the Covid-19 pandemic. Beginning at midnight on 30 April, and ending at 7am on Saturday 2 May, the “retreat” will take the form of a Lough Derg pilgrimage. Those taking part – for all or some of the time – will be invited to pray the Lough Derg stations, as well as observing the Lough Derg fast.
