Do not
be afraid
We
believe that Jesus will be with us
wherever
we go,
and his
divine protection will be with us.
We pray
not to be afraid,
as he
so often told his first disciples.
Dear
God, you chose us in Christ
before
the world was made.
May we
know and feel your Providence
with us
each and every day,
and
walk in your company.
Jesus,
Son of God,
you are
the very image of God your Father.
May we
always look at you
to
remind ourselves what God is like:
compassionate,
encouraging,
ever-living,
ever-loving.
Taken
from A Thousand and One Prayers by Gerald O’Mahony.
