The season of Christmas reveals Our Lady’s central role in the Incarnation.  Mary of Nazareth was chosen by God to be the Mother of God.  As children of God, we are privileged to partake in this story of grace.  We are honoured to have the parish Oratory dedicated to Mary Mother of God.  Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us…

33 DAYS OF FAMILY PRAYER – Bishop McKeown will lead the diocese towards Consecration to Christ through Mary, for the Jubilee Year 2025.   Online on the Diocese of Derry Facebook, daily at 7pm.  Thursday 9th January to Tuesday 11th February 2025.

RENOVATING CHURCH – The work on St Eugene’s Church, Glenock will commence soon.  Immense gratitude is due to contributing parishioners for raising substantial funds to date.  Because our grant is for heritage, the NLHF providers have stipulated that only part of the award can be spent on the restoration of the building.  We must continue to promote the heritage and history of the area.  Therefore, the parish will still require considerable financial support to preserve our remarkable church for future generations.  Thank you for donations and for submitting your yellow envelope every week.  The good Lord will reward your constant fidelity and generosity.
