PARISH DRAW : 2018/2019

As hard as it is to believe, Monday 5th March will be the final draw for 2017/2018! Now entering its 11th year, the draw has proven to be a significant and vital source of income for the parish; and for this I am extremely thankful. Thankful to all who organise it, to those who promote it and to all those who buy lines and support the draw each year.

In 10 years £630,000 has been raised - Where would we be without you!

The money raised has allowed continuous building and maintenance works to be carried out on our Churches and properties. Exciting projects are in the pipeline, which we hope to roll out in the very near future. It has also enabled the parish to thrive and come alive with the many pastoral activities on offer; particularly for our youth - our shinning lights for the future Church. It is very much my hope that Cappagh will continue to flourish and that our community spirit will continue to enrich parish life. On Thursday 1st March the new draw will be launched in the Parish Centre from 7.30-8.30pm and I hope to welcome back all current promoters and hopefully a few more…

I am only too aware of the huge support given from parishioners throughout the years and once again I appeal to your generosity for continued support in this years draw.

Fr Kevin McElhennon
