because we were able to get a supply priest from the Diocese of Raphoe to cover. EUCHARISTIC ADORATION: St Patrick’s, Castlederg - Fridays
from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm. CONFESSIONS: St Patrick’s, Castlederg -
Saturdays from 5:15 to 5:45 pm. BAPTISMS will be celebrated in St
Patrick’s Church on Saturdays 12 October and 9 November at 4:00 pm. Baptisms
in St Mary’s and St Francis of Assisi churches are by arrangement (Saturdays also).
Please book your child’s Baptism with the Sacristan at least 1 week beforehand. SAFEGUARDING: If you have a safeguarding concern, please contact one of our Diocesan Designated
Persons (Mr Noel O Donnell - 075 9650 0793/Mrs Celine McKenna - 077 0731 1358),
who are responsible for receiving, managing and reporting concerns or complaints
relating to safeguarding within the Church. You may also contact statutory authorities

Collection for the Trust Fund for Retired Priests will be taken up as a second collection this

FOR THIS WEEK: Group 2 We pray for the happy repose of the soul of ALPHONSUS (FONCIE) GOAN RIP, formerly of 12 Strabane Road and Parkview Care Home, Castlederg, whose Funeral Mass took place on Friday 20 September in St Francis of Assisi Church, Drumnabey, with burial in Carncorn Cemetery. We offer our sympathy and prayerful support to his family circle and friends. May Foncie’s soul rest in
peace. DERRY DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO KNOCK SHRINE – SATURDAY 28 SEPTEMBER Led by
Bishop Donal McKeown. Stations of the
Cross 2:00 pm, Mass 3:00 pm, with
Sacrament of the Sick. A bus will be
leaving Castlederg at 8:00 am to travel on the Pilgrimage. To book a place, contact Lynch’s Coach Hire on 028 8167 1344. PARISH PRAYER GROUP: The next Prayer Meeting will
be held in St Patrick’s Parish Hall, Castlederg, at 8:00 pm on Friday 27 September
and meetings will continue on the second and fourth Fridays of each month. We would
encourage as many members of our Parish family as possible to attend. Tea and refreshments
after the meeting. ST EUGENE’S HALL: There will be a meeting of the Dregish Community Group held at 8:00 pm on Wednesday 25 September to plan future activities. All welcome! KNOCK SHRINE - A DAY IN HONOUR OF OUR LADY – “Calling All Families”: Consecrate your families to Our Lady on Saturday 5 October at the Pilgrimage Mass, which will be held at 3:00 pm. Followed by testimony, food and music in the Rest and Care Centre and concluding with a Holy Hour to pray for our Priests, Bishops and their Dioceses. at church doors. COASTAL ROSARY FOR LIFE, FAITH AND LOVE: Join in with thousands of
people all around Ireland as we gather on our coasts, near rivers, in our churches,
at grottos etc to pray the Rosary for Life, Faith and Love on Sunday

different and discuss it with friends? The group meet on the 2nd Thursday of each
month from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Irish Conversation Group Wednesdays from
3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. If you have an interest in the Irish language, this is the one
for you. ‘Knit & Natter’ Group Thursdays from 11:00 am to
