of St Mary’s Church – Ardmore. To celebrate and mark this
anniversary, the Ardmore Parish Pastoral Council will host from Advent 2019 (beginning
of the Church Year) through to November 2020 the end month of the Church year and
the 90th anniversary month of our Parish Church (2nd November 2020) a series of
Celebrations, Triduum’s led by the Iosas Centre, The Grey Friars of Renewal, The
Thornhill Centre, and The Carmelite Fathers, Termonbacca. Beginning the First week of Advent 2019. Sunday
1st – Wednesday 4th December 2019. –
Led by ‘The Iosas Centre’, with Liturgies and Talks from Monday 1st December – Wednesday
3rd December at 7pm led by Paul Porter, Marguerite Hamilton and Stephen Doherty. Our Second Celebration will be from Sunday 15th March – Tuesday 17th March
2020. – Led by ‘The Grey Friars of Renewal’ with Liturgy on Sunday 15th afternoon/evening. Our Third Celebration will be from Sunday 24th May with Liturgies on the
Pre Pentecost evenings from Monday 25th May – Wednesday 27th May. Led by Thornhill
Ministries At 7pm each evening. Our Fourth Celebration will be on the 90th Anniversary of the Church, beginning
Sunday 1st November – Wednesday 4th November, hosted by the Carmelite Fathers, Termonbacca. Our thanks to each of the above in advance for accepting

Eucharist in May 2020. We welcome to our Church today,
Sunday at the 11am Mass, the P4 children from Glendermott Primary School with their
Parent(s) /Guardian(s). We thank all who attended the ‘Do This in Memory’ Meeting
in the Pastoral Centre, on Tuesday past. We thank Emma, Una, Carol and Sharon who
agreed to take part in the leadership team for the Programme. We also welcome back these
children with their Parent(s)/Guardian(s) for the Next ‘Do this in Memory’ Mass,
at the 6pm Vigil next Saturday. Annual Solemn Novena in honour of Our Lady of Perpetual
Help, Nine Sundays before Christmas in Long Tower Church at
6.00pm. The theme of the Novena is; ‘As we seek Mary's help in caring for our
common home, this planet earth’. Each night will comprise of the Rosary,
Novena prayer and petitions, a talk given by various guest speakers & ceremony
of healing with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. This Sunday 17th November
our speaker is Dr Lynette McShane. BINGO In Curryneirin Community
Centre on Monday 18 November 2019 at 8.15 pm. Admission £1.00. Big book

will be on 9 December 2019. All Welcome! DERRY DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO LOURDES 2020: 2 - 7 July 2020. Applications are
now being sought for the 2020 Youth Pilgrimage, from those who will be age 17
at time of travel. Forms can be requested through schools or directly from the

Pastoral Centre this Friday 22nd November beginning 7pm. Please give names by
this Wednesday to assist in catering for the meal on the evening. All who assist in the Parish
are very welcome to attend. Ardmore GAC Lotto Results Week 45 Lotto Results Week 45, the
numbers were 5-10-12. The Jackpot was not won and £50 was won by Jean Boyd. Next week the jackpot is £1550.
