The Trocaire collection this year will, like all other things, be affected. Nevertheless, some parishioners may wish to contribute to the Trocaire Lenten Campaign as normal, and we have had a few enquiries at this stage about how proceeds of the Lenten Campaign can be submitted. Obviously, with no church gatherings, parishioners will not be in a position to return Trocaire boxes to their church.

For people who do not use online banking, cheques can be posted to: Trocaire, 50-52 King Street, Belfast, BT1 6AD. Euro cheques can also be posted to the Belfast address.

There is also a Northern Ireland freephone number, 0800 912 1200, through which people can donate but, having tried this number, it may be difficult for people to get through! It does not seem to be designed for the volume of calls that might be created through the absence of the usual channels for Lenten contributions.
