Supporting
St. Vincent de Paul The local St.
Vincent de Paul Group Thanks all who remain very committed to supporting
the work & needs of the local branch, through the use of the St. Vincent de
Paul Envelope, available in the porch of the 3 Churches. Envelopes can be returned via the Offertory
Basket at weekend Masses. Thanking you
for whatever support you can give, particularly in these times when there are
many worthy and urgent calls on people’s generosity.
Youth
2000 Summer Festival Join over 1000
young people between 16 and 35 this August at the Youth 2000 Summer Festival
which is taking place in Clongowes Wood College, Clane, Co Kildare from Thursday
11th August to Sunday 14th August 2022. For
more information and to book your place go to www.youth2000.ie
Diocesan Day on Lough Derg on Saturday 20 August 2022. Parishioners and their friends from across the diocese are invited to take part in this 1-day pilgrimage. Lough Derg Three Day Pilgrimage continues until 15th August. Admission €80. Booking advised at www.loughderg.org email info@loughderg.org or telephone 071 9861518. Diocesan
Pilgrimage to Knock, led by Bishop Larry Duffy, Bishop of Clogher, on Wednesday
24 August 2022. Given that there will be no pilgrimage to Lourdes this
year, this is a wonderful opportunity for people from across the diocese and
their friends to make a pilgrimage to the national shrine of Mary here in
Ireland.
The Sunday Offertory Collection The parish Thanks parishioners for their generous financial support. Thanks to those who return their Weekly Sunday Offertory Envelopes; those who are using a Standing Order with their Bank or Credit Union; those who make payment by cheque to the parish at intervals throughout the year. The parish also thanks other Massgoers who place cash donations in the Basket at the Offertory of the Mass. The parish is
there to serve the needs of ALL parishioners - and so in terms of justice and
fairness it is a responsibility that should be shared by all. Every contribution helps the parish meet its
ever increasing running costs and is always appreciated.
