ASCENSION<\/span> – Today’s First Reading (Acts 1)\nexplains that Jesus ascended into heaven forty days after the\nResurrection.  The Gospel (Mark 16) says that ‘there at the right hand\nof God he took his place’<\/span>, namely, the position of authority.  There,\nChrist has the authority to bring us into glory at the end of time. \nMeanwhile, He exalts our minds and hearts with His grace, so that day by day,\nwe are preparing for heaven.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n
