document.write("My name is<\/span> <\/span>Willy Krause<\/span>, I am 21 years of age and grew up in East Germany, a region, where the people are rather distant from God, and I was too. But during my studies in Berlin, I began to ask myself serious questions such as: What is the purpose of my life and what is the purpose of the whole of creation? Is there something more than just coincidence or randomness to explain creation? I found my answers in Catholic teaching and was overwhelmed by my experience of a loving God. The gratitude and joy I felt caused me to reconsider my life and encouraged me to share my experience with others. Therefore I entered the Derry Youth Community last year and was so thrilled by the people of Derry and the work that we do, that it was a very easy decision to return and join the team for another year to help spread the Good News among the youth of Derry.<\/span><\/p> My name is Sebastiano Pellizzari,<\/span> I’m 22 years of age I was born in Vicenza, in northern Italy. From an early age I was drawn to the priesthood and with my parents’ permission, I entered a minor Seminary at the age of 13, for prepare my theological studies, I’m now in the major Seminary studying very happily for the priesthood. To extend my life experience I chose to come to Derry in 2017 to be a member of the Derry Youth Community, in the knowledge that I would be working with young people on faith – based projects. I found my Derry experience to be so richly rewarding that I have opted to come back for further year. After this year, I shall return to Italy to continue my studies for the priesthood.<\/span><\/p><\/div> DYC WANTS YOU! Derry Youth Community is a community of people between\nthe ages of 18 and 25 that commit to bring the Gospel to the young people of\nthe Derry Diocese.
